Rohr Park Details:

This park is very popular among San Diego residents. The actual park itself is a decent size with a number of amenities meant for its visitors. The biggest pull however is its extensive trail system that is great for beginner and advanced runners looking to get their miles in. It's great for biking too if you don't mind the large crowds of people on the main trail. It does have a dirt trail that connects it with the Silver Strand Bike Trail. However, if you're aiming to get to the Silver Strand Bike trail be prepared for a VERY long path that is 90% free of cars.

The parks trails surround two nearby golf courses with the short 3mi trail being the most popular. However, the 7mi trail is popular among more advanced athletes and college running teams. This park has plenty of trees and shade which is why it is so popular. It also has basketball courts, baseball fields, workout equipment, and a dog park. All of which are free for the public to use. It's a great place for picnics and it has some ranches nearby so expect to see some horses if you go. There's also a duck pond too so it's safe to say that this is one of the best parks in all of San Diego.
